This is a reinterpretation of Akita’s Namahage from my perspective. It depicts the contrast between its surface-level terror and the beauty and kindness that may be hidden within. It is frightening, yet it may also be gentle. It is ugly, yet it may also be beautiful.Are they allies or adversaries, adversaries or allies ———?
